Introduction
A briological team composed by María J. Cano, M. Teresa Gallego, Juan A. Jiménez from University of Murcia (Spain), and Guillermo Suárez from Fundación Miguel Lillo of Tucumán (Argentina) carried out an expedition to Argentina in February of 2008. This trip was funded by Spanish Ministry of Education and Science through the project “Study of the tribes Barbuleae and Bryoerythrophylleae (Pottiaceae, Bryophyta) in South America” (CGL2007-60692) and Fundación Séneca of Murcia through the project 02979/PI/05.
This exploration was carried out thanks to the cooperation of Museo Botánico of Córdoba (CORD). About 550 specimens of bryophytes were collected, keeping primarily at MUB with duplicates at CORD, and LIL.
Introduction
María J. Cano and Marta Alonso from University of Murcia (Spain) carried out an expedition to Northern Argentina in March of 2014. This trip was funded by Spanish Ministry of Education and Science through the project “Studies in the family Pottiaceae in South America. Phase III” (CGL2010-15959). This exploration was carried out thanks to the cooperation of National Herbarium of Córdoba (CORD). About 420 specimens of bryophytes were collected, keeping at CORD and MUB.
